“The State of Adequate Housing in Jordan” explores the key challenges and opportunities shaping access to adequate, safe, and affordable housing in Jordan. The study examines the country’s housing conditions, affordability, policy and institutional frameworks, and the factors influencing housing outcomes for different groups. Prepared in 2025 and published in 2026, the study was developed by Jordanian housing and urban development experts through technical cooperation with the Urban Housing Practitioners Hub in the Middle East and North Africa. Using the dimensions of adequate housing as an analytical framework, the study provides evidence-based insights into Jordan’s current housing landscape and identifies priorities for advancing more inclusive and adequate housing policies.
يستعرض «حالة السكن اللائق في الأردن» أبرز التحديات والفرص التي تؤثر على إمكانية الحصول على سكن لائق وآمن وميسور التكلفة في الأردن. وتتناول الدراسة أوضاع السكن في المملكة، والقدرة على تحمل تكاليفه، والأطر السياساتية والمؤسسية ذات الصلة، والعوامل التي تؤثر على ظروف السكن لمختلف الفئات. أُعدّت الدراسة في عام ٢٠٢٥ ونُشرت في عام ٢٠٢٦، بالتعاون الفني مع مركز ممارسي الإسكان الحضري في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وبمشاركة خبراء أردنيين في مجالي الإسكان والتنمية الحضرية. وبالاستناد إلى أبعاد السكن اللائق كإطار تحليلي، تقدم الدراسة رؤى قائمة على الأدلة حول واقع السكن في الأردن، وتحدد أولويات السياسات اللازمة لتعزيز الوصول إلى سكن أكثر شمولًا ولائقًا للجميع.
